My artwork seeks to develop narratives, to tell a story and prompt questions. I draw inspiration from popular culture and rethinking my experiences. I use embroidery and tapestry techniques to create a contemporary spin on stitch. I observe the time-consuming and traditional craft of stitch conflicting with an idea of instant fulfilment. I enjoy the detail, texture, and refraction of light within the threads. My artwork reflects time invested in process.
